CV: Mr. Broderick joins Abraxas Corporation following three years with Department of Homeland Security as the Director of Operations (J3) with direct report to the Secretary of Homeland Security. In his capacity, Broderick built and led the Homeland Security Operations Center (HSOC) into one of the largest 24/7 Centers in the country coordinating incidents of national significance and providing status to the Secretary and the White House. Mr. Broderick was previously General Manager, Assistant Vice President and subsequently Vice President of Operations for Sunterra Corporation leading more than 1100 employees resulting in $100M net sales and marketing revenue in the selling, building and managing of resorts throughout the Eastern United States and the Caribbean. A career Marine earning the rank of Brigadier General, Broderick served in command positions at the platoon, company, battalion, and regimental level (Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations Capable) and numerous staff positions to include Battalion, Regiment, and Division operations officer. He additionally served as the Inspector General for the United States Central Command and Deputy Director of Operations for the United States Marine Corps in Washington DC. Following his graduation he served as an infantry platoon commander in Vietnam from 1968-1969.
